Mike’s early career was spent at Auckland City Council analysing and administering property transactions from the ground up – literally. Much of his clientele consisted of property developers, planners and builders. Since he started as a real estate agent in the late 1990s, Mike has built a strong and enduring relationship with the people of Orakei and the neighbouring suburbs in the eastern bays. It has always been his customary stomping ground and his face is well-known by many in the district. His innumerable clients conduct their property transactions through Mike because they know that his integrity is without question. Mike joined forces with Megan Jaffe in June 2011 to secure a 50% stake in Ray White Orakei – the only real estate office serving and conducting its business within the suburb’s boundaries.
Mike is approachable and professional and very, very passionate about his Orakei neighbourhood. He grew up in Mission Bay, and he and his young family have enjoyed all the valuable resources that this prime location has to offer. He is an enthusiastic supporter of Orakei Primary School, Orakei Kindergarten and St Joseph’s School and has been involved in a number of fundraisers.
